In diesem Jahr begrüßt die Rembrücker Kerb ihre Gäste von Samstag, 9., bis Montag, 11. September, am Dorfplatz vor der Alten Schule in der Hauptstraße.
Ausgerichtet wird die Kerb zum zweiten Mal unter dem Slogan „Ein Dorf hält zusammen“ von den drei großen Rembrücker Vereinen TV Rembrücken, Freiwillige Feuerwehr Rembrücken und Tennisclub Rembrücken, die traditionell mit dem Aufstellen des Kerbbaums beginnt, auf dem der „Kerbborsch“ thront. Die offizielle Eröffnung findet mit Bürgermeister Steffen Ball und einem Vorstandsmitglied des Vereins am Samstag, 9. September, um 16 Uhr statt.
Für die Dauer der Rembrücker Kerb wird die Hauptstraße voll gesperrt. Wegen der Sperrung wird eine Umleitung ab der Heusenstammer Straße in Höhe der Zufahrt zur Hühnerfarm in den asphaltierten Feldweg für Anwohnerinnen und Anwohner und Kerbgäste eingerichtet (Wegweiser).
